Title of the thesis: "Low temperature structural phase transformationa and transport studies of pervoskite based magnetic oxides"

Abstract of the thesis: Polycrystalline samples of La1-xCaxMnO3 have been prepared by solid state reaction route. The tempeature dependent x-ray (950K to 80K)  and electron diffraction studies (300 K to 90 K) were carried out. The boserved structural phase transfromation and its effect on the electron transport has been correleted.
